indigo.: Project: Bomberjacket.

You may or may not have seen the outfit I wore when I was in Strasbourg (here).

The jacket was another sewing project.

I used the same pattern as for the grey bomber/college jacket and some thrifted fabric with this cool palm tree pattern. I've had the fabric for quite a while now, but never really knew what to use it for. I didn't wanted to sew something that was full on green and covered in palm trees.

But I'm very happy with how the jacket turned out.

The cream knitted fabric was a left over from pillow-sewing. All in all the material costs for the jacket are around 7€ and it took me about 3-4 hours to make it.

The only problem I have is that I'm not sure what to wear it with other than an all black outfit. Turns out I do not own any cream or in general warm colored clothes that would work with the jacket.
